School Supply List

2019-20 Neihardt Elementary School 


This is the recommended school supply list for each grade level. We will accommodate families who have difficulty providing these supplies. Please contact the school at 402.715.8360 with any questions. 


Students are asked to have something to bring materials back and forth to school each day, such as a backpack. Families are invited to bring supplies to school on the evening of August 8th during Open House from 5:30-7 PM


KINDERGARTEN 

1 – Backpack (no wheels) 

1 – School box (plastic – 5x8) 

2 – 4oz bottles of Elmer’s Glue 

12 – Elmer’s Glue sticks 

5 – boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons 

2 – large erasers 

1 - box of 12 yellow #2 pencils (sharpened) 

1 - box of 10 Crayola Classic Markers 

1 - box of 12 colored pencils 

2 – bottles of hand sanitizer 

1 – container of Clorox wipes 

3 – boxes of tissues 

2 – Black Expo Dry Erase markers 

1 – box Ziploc bags (based on first letter of last name) 

A-M quart size N-Z gallon size 

Headphones (don’t have to be new – no earbuds) 

No pencil sharpeners or scissors needed. 

All community supplies – no need to label 


1ST GRADE 

1 – Plastic pocket folder 

4 – Crayons (24 count, not twistable) 

12 – Glue Sticks, small 

1 – Small bottle of Elmer’s liquid glue 

24 - #2 Pencils, sharpened 

1 - 4 pack of BLACK dry erase markers 

2 – watercolor set (Crayola brand please) 

2 – 10 count box of washable markers 

2 - Composition Notebook (tape bound-not spiral) 

1 – pencil box 

2 - large boxes of Kleenex 

2 – containers Clorox wet wipes (girls only) 

1 – box of sandwich sized baggies (boys only) 

1 – box of gallon sized baggies (boys only)

2nd GRADE 

36 - #2 Pencils (SHARPENED PLEASE)

4 – Composition Notebooks (different colors)

2 – Clorox wipes Ear Buds

No Pencil Boxes please


There is no need to label most school supplies, however, please make sure to label student items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, coats/jackets, winter accessories, shoes (PE/Snow boots), sweatshirts/hoodies, etc…


All students are required to have tennis shoes for Physical Education class (PE) and also on Wednesday’s Gymsic class.
