School Supply List

 2021-22 Neihardt Elementary School 

This is the recommended school supply list for each grade level. We will accommodate families who have difficulty providing these supplies. Please contact the school at 402.715.8360 with any questions. 

 

Students are asked to have something to bring materials back and forth to school each day, such as a backpack.  Supplies will be brought by the child on the first day of school. 

KINDERGARTEN 

1 – Backpack (no wheels) 

1 – School box (plastic – 5x8) 

1 – 4oz bottle of Elmer’s Glue 

12 – Elmer’s Glue sticks 

5 – boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons (NOT washable)

2 – large erasers

1 - pair of scissors 

1 - box of 12 yellow #2 pencils (sharpened) 

1 - box of 10 Crayola Classic Washable Markers 

1 - box of 12 colored pencils 

2 – bottles of hand sanitizer 

2 – containers of Clorox wipes 

3 – boxes of tissues 

4 – black Expo Dry Erase markers 

2 – highlighters

1 - set of watercolors

2 - plastic folders with prongs (1 yellow and 1 blue)

Headphones (don’t have to be new – no earbuds) 

Snack-sized ZipLock baggies (Last names A-M only)

Gallon-sized ZipLock baggies (Last names N-R only)

Quart-sized ZipLock baggies (Last names S-Z only)

No pencil sharpeners or rulers needed. 

All community supplies – no need to label except 

for pencil box and headphones

1ST GRADE 

1 -- Fiskars scissors

2 – Plastic pocket folders (1 red, 1 blue)

2nd GRADE

There is no need to label most school supplies, however, please make sure to label student items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, coats/jackets, winter accessories, shoes (PE/Snow boots), sweatshirts/hoodies, etc.

 

All students are required to have tennis shoes for Physical Education class (PE) and also for Wednesday’s Gymsic class.
