About Neihardt

In 1998, Neihardt Elementary was distinguished as a National Blue Ribbon School.  We are proud of this great accomplishment and it is our commitment to maintain this level of excellence to this day! As dedicated educators, the staff guarantees student success because our greatest source of pride comes from the big and small accomplishments of our students each day!

We invite you to please stop by and visit Neihardt. We know you will feel an excitement and energy when you arrive! Our school is a place of joy for our Knights when they enter our doors each day. At Neihardt, “joy” is firmly rooted in the nurturing, positive classrooms and cultivated by caring, professional staff members, as well as actively involved families.

Our school is a place of continuous learning for children as well as adults. We offer learning environments created to motivate and guide all students to achieve their greatest potential academically and socially. You will find a commitment here: to learning, to collaboration, to growth…a commitment to each and every child that enters our doors. We believe that all children CAN learn!

Many of you have heard the African Proverb, "It takes a whole village to raise a child."  It refers to the need of an extended family to raise children, a most precious gift. As families, we need to rely on the communal effort it takes in growing a child! At Neihardt, we are honored to be a part of your village and have you and your family as part of our school family too!

Our goals are to help your child learn and LOVE coming to school each day. Our doors are open and we welcome a conversation with you anytime!

Once a Knight ALWAYS a Knight!
